I study glacier albedo across western North America by connecting satellite observations, atmospheric models and statistical inference. My work focuses on separating wildfire effects from the larger climate signal.

A 22-year study of wildfire impacts on glaciers across western North America.
The project combines MODIS albedo observations with paired FireWork simulations—with and without wildfire emissions—to estimate the fire-attributable component of glacier darkening.
