◫ Albedo & wildfire atlas
RegionWildfire impact2023
Data: aerosol-corrected Ren JJA albedo. Wildfire Δα is a posterior counterfactual estimate from the multivariate Student-t model (bayes_REGION_mv; region × hypsometric-zone slopes, 2002–2023), not a direct measurement or causal proof. Values are posterior means; P(darkening) reports uncertainty. The default annual and mean colour classes match the article figures; estimates with P(darkening) below 95% are grey. Built as a static atlas with deck.gl, MapLibre and Chart.js. View seasonal albedo minima. Explore daily wildfire deposition.
